STAR.LOG 5

STRIP.LOG, MUD.LOG, and HORIZONTAL.LOG

This is the full product version of WellSight's *.LOG suite of strip log programs. These programs require a Hardware Key to run.

Windows versions supported: 98 SE, NT 4, 2000, XP.

Note to Windows NT/2000/XP users: You must have administrator privileges to install STRIP.LOG, HORIZONTAL.LOG, and/or MUD.LOG.

Major Upgrades

A major upgrade has a higher major version number (e.g. from 4.x to 5.x). To upgrade to the next major release:

Backup any strip log files and other data files that you have created in the installation directory.

Uninstall the old version. While this is not necessary, it is recommended unless you need to use both versions. If you don't uninstall the old version, then both versions will be available.

Download and install the new version.

Upgrade your hardware key. How do I do that?

Maintenance Updates

You can update to a maintenance release with the same major version number (e.g. from 5.2 to 5.3) without upgrading your hardware key. In this case, install the new version over the old one. There is no need to uninstall the old version.

Trials

No trial version is available for STAR.LOG 5. However, you can download and try the fully-functioning version of STAR.LOG 6 for a limited trial period.
